Using WaggleFinder
WaggleFinder is a directory of pet services across the United States: veterinarians, groomers, pet sitters, boarding, trainers and more, with their addresses, phone numbers, websites, opening hours and reviews from other pet owners.
Yes. Searching, saving businesses, writing reviews and adding a business are all free, and so is creating an account.
Search from the home page: choose the kind of service, then type a city or ZIP code. You can also browse by service, state and city, starting from the pet services in the footer. Each city’s page has a map, to see which businesses are nearest.
We keep them as up to date as we can, from the businesses themselves and from OpenStreetMap, but hours change, especially on holidays. Please call the business to check it’s open before you go.
Some pet services work from home or come to you, like mobile groomers and pet sitters. We keep their addresses private, and show the area they serve instead.
Our team has checked the listing’s details with the business itself.
Your account
Not to search or to read reviews. With a free account you can save businesses, write reviews, share photos of your pets, and add or claim a business. You can sign up with your email address or with Google.
Use a password you don’t use anywhere else, and turn on Two-Factor Authentication in your profile. With it on, we email you a 6-digit code each time you log in with your password, so no one can get in with your password alone.
Choose Forgot password? on the login page, and we’ll email you a link to set a new one.
You can change your name, email address and password in your profile. To delete your account, email us at info@wagglefinder.com from the address on your account.
Reviews
Anyone with an account and a confirmed email address. You can review each business once, about your own visit. Reviews show your first name and last initial.
No. People who own, work for or compete with a business can’t review it, and reviews can’t be written in return for payment or a discount. See our terms of service.
Choose Report beside the review and tell us why. Our moderators check reports, and remove reviews that break the rules.
For businesses
Add a listing with your business’s details and where it is on the map. It’s free. Our moderators check every new listing before it appears on the site.
Find your listing and choose Claim this listing. To check you work there, we can email a code to the business’s address on file, or our team can call its phone number. We check every claim before approving it.
Choose Report an error at the bottom of the listing and tell us what has changed, or contact us. We’ll put it right.
Pets, photos and travel
Only you, unless you choose to share a photo in the public pet gallery. You can take it out of the gallery or delete it at any time.
Our hotel pet policies and airline pet policies pages link to each company’s own policy, with its fees and rules. They change often, so check with the company before you book.
Our pet insurance page lists US pet insurance companies with links to their websites, so you can compare their plans and prices yourself.
Privacy
We use it to run the site and your account, and we don’t sell it. Records of pages opened and forms sent are kept for 90 days, to keep the site secure, and passwords are never recorded. Our privacy policy has the details.
